Ein böser Zauberer hat dich in eine Maus verwandelt und auf die Recheninsel verbannt.
Um wieder zurückverwandelt zu werden, brauchst du ein Gegenelixier.
Dieses ist irgendwo auf der Insel versteckt.
Damit du es finden kannst, benötigst du eine Schatzkarte. Du musst auf der Insel 6 Rechenrätsel lösen.
Für jede gelöste Aufgabe erhältst du ein Stück der Schatzkarte.
Wenn du alle 6 Stücke der Schatzkarte zusammensetzt, kannst du das erlösende Elixier finden.
Das Schöne an der Recheninsel ist der hohe Spaßfaktor, mit dem hier herausfordernde Aufgaben gelöst werden.
Die Reihenfolge in welcher die Aufgaben gelöst werden kann frei gewählt werden.
Einige Stationen haben bei jedem Neustart sich zufällig bildende Aufgaben in einem bestimmten Zahlenbereich, wodurch auch bei mehrmaligem Spielen der Lerneffekt nicht verloren geht.
Das Anforderungsniveau liegt bei den Kompetenz-
erwartungen des 4.-6. Schuljahres, gute Rechner können aber auch schon im 3. Schuljahr damit arbeiten und auch für Erwachsene hält sie einige "Kniffeligkeiten" parat.
Nach jedem gelösten Rechenrätsel wird der Spielstand gespeichert.
Die Aufgabenschwerpunkte liegen in den Bereichen Zahlen und Operationen, Raum, Form und Größen.
